Welcome to Ausar Auset Society International
- Toronto Region. The Ausar Auset Society International is
a Pan-African religious organization that has been providing
Afrocentric based spiritual training to the African-American
community and to African descendants in the Diaspora, for
over 35 years. The organization was created for the purpose
of providing a social vehicle, a society, to allow its members
full expression through daily living of the spiritual values
learned.
Founded
in 1973 by His Excellency, Shekhem Ur Shekhem (King) and Ashemu
Ur Ashemu (High Priest), Ra Un Nefer Amen I, Ausar Auset Society
is now an international body. Worldwide, those seeking to
become spiritually enlightened can receive the teachings which
allowed the Kamau (Ancient Egyptians) to create and sustain
the most extraordinary civilization to ever exist on earth
thus far. Classes taught include Kamitic philosophy (cosmology),
meditation, oracle interpretation, health, tree of life Qi
gong, traditional Chinese health science, astrology, African
history/culture and more. If applied to our lives, these teachings
will reunite individuals with the traditions of a great civilization
and allow initiates to empower themselves to awaken the God
man/woman within and become what the Kamitians called an Ausar
(highest divine being).
The
Ausar Auset Society is headquartered in New York City with
branches in several major cites in the United States as well
as in London, Trinidad, Bermuda and Toronto. Its governmental
system is based on the traditional African Kingship structure
which has been officially recognized by the Asantehene (King
of the Ashantis) of Ghana.
Toronto
Ausar Auset Chapter was established in 1998. Since that
time, the group has offered public classes in meditation,
Kamitic way of spirit, health and Qi gong. We have also hosted
6 major educational conferences and forums on Kamitic spiritual
science and way of life with presentations led by His Excellency
Shekhem Ur Shekhem Ra Un Nefer Amen I, Ur Aua Hehi Metu Ra
EnKamit, Ur Aua-t Merisa Amn Amen, Ur Aua-t Shemsut Maat EnKamit,
Ur Aua-t, and EnenTchaas Ra EnKamit. In 2004, the Toronto
group started its own Kamitic full time day school for children,
Sen Ntiu Baa. The
Ausar Auset Society has provided a framework and structure
for people to grow spiritually, harmoniously and productively
-not in isolation, but together. To this end, all of our services
and programs aim to create strong, vibrant communities in
which the ageless wisdom of our divine ancestors can be lived
on a daily basis.
